Lucas Pelucas Tamarind Push Up Candy
I freaking love this stuff... its like straight up crack.
its a sweet n sour with a little bit of spice paste in a push up form.
I've eaten this since I was a kiddo and its a really popular candy where I grew up (San Antonio)
It also comes in a powder form, but I dont like that as much...

"Fruit"
I've been trying to be a penny pincher and save up and pay down my debts,
so I've packed me & the BF's lunch as much as I could for the past year +.
We try and eat as healthy as we can, so I make an attempt to always throw in some kind of fruit for breakfast or snack.
Today's fruit variety included a Gala Apple ( I <3 Apples.. :))
and a couple of cuties (really small oranges).

"Your Neighborhood"
Ok OK so this one was kinda tough...
We just moved in a couple of weeks ago
and haven't had the privilege of scouting out our new digs
BUT these are the gorgeous roses that are planted on the side our our house,
the front of our house on a really cloudy and depressing day.
The coolest part, is we live a block away from the Farmers Branch Historical Park
which is pretty neat.. I'm sure we'll head over there soon and I'll post some pics.
The neighborhood we live in is really awesome.Some of the houses down the street are straight up Mansions... makes ours look like the maidshoues lol
On this fine Saturday,
we spent most of it still unpacking.
We took a break and went running around town..
with that I was sporting my buddies awesome sunglasses..
What-cha think?!
Later on that afternoon,
the BF treated me to an awesome date
to Fogo De Chao!

ya ya ya.. I'm pigging out :) Don't act surprised :)
It felt like I ate myself to a size 40!
After my boyfriend bragged to the wait staff that I recently got a promotion at work,
and that he was now with a 'suga momma' (boy must be trippin)
They surprised me with this :)
This amazing stuff was Brazilian flan... if you ever get a chance to taste this masterpiece..
do yourself a favor and DO it! Its def not on my regrets, and I don't mind having to run a couple of extra miles to work it off :)

Nothing seriously too exciting..
Our alarm clock, remotes, ipad and a modern lamp that I absolutely love.
This is actually the BF's side of the bed cause mine is pretty boring and only has the lamp ;p

"A Smile"
Well this is where the "fun" begins..
The BF is privileged with having an awesome job that has some great benefits sometimes..
Monday night was one of those awesome nights that make up for all the late afternoon meetings...
We got suite tickets to the Radiohead concert!
Ben, Gabby, Me, BF
We felt like absolute royalty up in that B***ch....
An open bar, great food... All Free and as much as you wanted!
and such chill music with radiohead..

It was an awesome show with hanging huge LCD screens and bright LED light shows..
hilarious part was that we kept pointing out all the lighter's lighting up and clouds of smoke coming from the large crowd on the floor... We were HotBoxed! Like Whoa!
So... much.. fun!

"something you wore"
Now I was totally gonna do like an OOTD "outfit of the day"
but I was totally not dressed to impress this day,
so I figured what better thing to showcase
than something that I wear practically everyday at work!
I run this thing dry of juice everyday
listening to the local radio and the reg downloaded music.
This was birthday gift from the BF when I turned 26 and he got it engraved with his nickname for me :)
So sweet :)
I take this thing everywhere!
It registers all my workouts and keeps me in check for when I haven't logged in my exercise time!

This is the window view out of my office..
where I spend 40hours/wk.

Some of my fake flowers that spruce up my view,
a crappy scanner that I hate with a passion
(I would pay to go all Office Space on this thing)
Tons of presentations, data and folders of material on HIV waiting to be read by yours truly for my new position,
and the a balloon that says I love you.. from Valentines Day.
A total cluster.. but I work with what I got, ya know.. :)

"Red"
This is my Strawberry Martini that I had at a sushi restaurant tonight
not necessary my favorite, but I needed something red today lol
Its lent, so on Fridays I can not eat meat...
But fish is allowed..
so this is my excuse to go eat sushi every Friday..
Win-Win for me in my opinion :)
So far I'm keeping up with this challenge and I'm knocking it out the park!
